The three associations "Per Boboli", "Pinocchio di Carlo Lorenzini" and "Trisomia 21 Onlus" presented last year the "CAMPO DEI MIRACOLI" project with the aim of helping to improve the quality of life for people with Intellectual and relational disabilities and their families, with particular reference to people with Down syndrome, realizing special orthopedic projects, taking into account the beauty and origins of Florentine historical gardens with the aim of enhancing its cultural and productive artistic heritage in a real process of inclusion, with respect for gender equality on a national and international scale; involving local and international institutions and also creating a network of therapeutic gardens that may be present in public or private historical gardens.

The "Campo dei Miracoli" project is promoted at European level in collaboration with Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) and MBM Training and Development Center (MBM TDC).

The Hon Monica Baldi, President of Cultural Association "Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini" declares: "It is extraordinary to share opinions, enthusiasm and emotions with students and teachers in the realization of this experimental orthotherapy laboratory "Country of the Barbagianni" that is being implemented now thanks to the Florence Agricultural Institute and the 1st District of Florence. The lab is an integral part of the “Campo dei Miracoli” project which, since last year was presented by our three associations, has been particularly successful with many requests for membership. And the leadership of Pinocchio, in this growth path, is unique and catalyzing in achieving a real process of inclusion that also enhances our extraordinary historical, artistic, cultural and environmental heritage."
