PETITION FOR PINOCCHIO MUSEUM IN THE DISTRICT OF SAN LORENZO IN FLORENCE

CONSIDERING THAT

on March 25th, at the headquarters of the association, during the celebration of Florentine New Year, on the day indicated in the Tuscan capital as the beginning of the year following an ancient custom in force until 1750, some associations in the district of San Lorenzo and surrounding areas have met and signed a declaration aimed to develop concrete actions to promote, discover and protect the unique social and cultural heritage of this part of town.

WHEREAS

the author of "The Adventures of Pinocchio," the world's best-known book, Carlo Lorenzini was born and lived in the historic district of San Lorenzo in Florence. This truth is known mainly to scholars in the field.
last year the Cultural Association of Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini was founded to study and promote the book "The Adventures of Pinocchio" through the identification of historical paths attributed to the stories of the Florentine writer. At the same time, the association operates for the redevelopment architectural, social and economic district of San Lorenzo with a series of targeted initiatives to ensure that this important part of the city can play in the best of its particular and complex functions.

donors and private lenders to work with the Florentine Administration in order to join efforts to help (even through commercial and cultural joint venture) to raise funds for the Pinocchio Museum in Florence, with appropriate forms of visibility and common management.
